Could the purpose of this simulation be for us to provide mathematical solutions to the simulator? True, any simulator would probably already know the math our world already knows, but perhaps, like AlphaGo Zero, it wanted us to start at zero and build up.

Everybody getting a driver's license in the US should know:
1) if a cop pulls you over on suspicion of a crime (including traffic violation) you have to show them license/registration/insurance
2) if a cop asks you to exit a vehicle (whether driver or passenger) you must do so

Seemingly easier ask, that I bet the answer is still "No," is just "Can I get mac's TextEdit to run on Linux? Or clone it?"

I actually tried this once. At one point in my life I had a lot of cash but not much credit. I also had no one to cosign a lease. So when I was applying for a cheap apartment, I asked: Can I just pay 12 months up front, and we can skip the credit check?
They said no.
