After watching it, I found out it was directed by the same guy who made, Terrified, which is another fairly recent recommendation (not to be confused with Terrifier).

I agree - when it hits, it REALLY hits - and part of that is because there’s something emotional underneath the abrasive noise - more so that thrash, death etc. I find the best black metal pretty moving.
