I see a lot of Nigerians saying why haven't we boycotted South African brands like MTN, and others but choose to bycott Tyla's show. This is a dvmb question, and for one single reason. MTN, and the likes of DStv operates in Nigeria, and have employed millions of Nigerians; Plus these companies also pay taxes to the Nigerian govt. Let's not also forget that these brands have been dragged repeatedly for different reasons over the years. We are condemning the xenophobic attacks, not trying to start an all-right war. If any of the brands promote discrimination they too will be held accountable. Again, no-one is hating on the likes of Tyla, criticism isn't hate. People are simply asking her to speak on the issue since she has a global audience, and coming to Nigeria why keeping mute is beyond disrespectful.
