I’m moving back to India after 12 years in the US. Always act from strategy, not compulsion. But that was becoming harder to do. Instead of strategizing toward a meaningful life, preserving legal status became the outcome I HAD to optimize for. I’m heading home now. For a new mission but with a freedom the “land of the free” had slowly been sucking out of me.

Europe purity spiraling is useless. Basically all Europeans have a similar makeup of WHG, Steppe, and others just with different percentages of each. The only exceptions with non European blood are Sami in Finland with Asian blood and some Spaniards/Italians with African blood.

Russia persecutes Christians more. The photos highlight beautiful Russian Orthodox heritage, which the state actively promotes. However, Russia bans Jehovah’s Witnesses (nearly 180 jailed), restricts Protestant groups, and in occupied Ukraine has banned independent churches, raided worship sites, and killed religious leaders. Israel protects full religious freedom for its ~185,000 Christians. They worship openly, enjoy legal equality, and face no state persecution—only isolated incidents. USCIRF flags Russia for egregious violations. It does not flag Israel.

How did a country of 300 million mostly good people end up with so many leaders in Government and Institutions who are corrupt?
