@cameron101298 @BeanWalrus “Won’t commit” is more true than people realize. Reylo was the plan in the original drafts. They scrapped it in TFA because Finn and Rey’s chemistry was that good. So why on Earth would they go back to Reylo????? And yet they did, screwing over everyone’s arcs in the process

@OrtolanThoughts @BeanWalrus I don’t disagree. I prefer reylo, but had they kept finn and Rey together they would’ve made a good couple too. The issue is they do spend a movie apart and in 9 JJ doesn’t do enough to make them work, and he also won’t commit to reylo. So everyone is unhappy. It pleases no one.

Rise of skywalker the funniest movie of all time. Finn spends the whole movie trying to make a confession of love, then the director said he wanted to tell her he has super powers. The hero and villain kiss at the end and then the company issued a statement that it was platonic

@cameron101298 @BeanWalrus I don’t think she had more chemistry with Kylo. They GAVE her more scenes with Kylo. Rey and Finn spend an entire movie apart to build up Reylo. In TFA Rey and Finn had plenty of chemistry

@BeanWalrus I feel bad for Finn as a character. He was clearly written to be the love interest to Rey in tfa, except she ended up having way more chemistry with Kylo. So not only were they lost with what to do with him, they couldn’t even commit to Rey and Kylo being a thing.

Nobody expected Grogu to permanently leave Din Djarin. But to have him return in The Book of Boba Fett after literally TWO EPISODES apart was not satisfying and this fandom is pretty united in that opinion.
Calling us media illiterate is disingenuous and rude.

Grogu was never going to permanently leave Din. The series is an adaptation of Lone Wolf and Cub. The people complaining about the season 2 ending being “undone” are too media illiterate to understand that.

Personally, I think the opposite. A lot of the dull “throw Clone Wars characters in to fix it” strategy originates with Rebels.

My hot take is that Andor and Clone Wars are both fantastic for what they are (gritty political drama/spy thriller vs mature children’s show about war and propaganda) and actually work well together.
We should stop fighting and unite against our common foes: Rebels/TBB.
