@matpolloy I read that longer seasons are only for network TV since they need content to fill the on-air schedule with enough advertising. For streaming, short seasons are all that’s necessary. There’s no advantage to costly long seasons when it doesn’t help add subscriptions.

6 out of 10 episodes into Maul and thinking how this was the first animated series in 2 years and will only be on air for 5 weeks.
They should have a lower, rebels budget Disney XD series that runs 22 episodes a year while making the D+ animated series serialized.

@think_starwars @BradleyCalvao Actually I clarified that it wasn’t intended as an insult. Which it wasn’t funnily enough. I’m just used to not getting anywhere in conversations with prequel fans because they often form their own opinions off of what they interpret the message of those movies to be.

@BradleyCalvao @TabrisSing I don’t think you understand. Saying someone doesn’t understand the Jedi doctrine about attachment or love without reading all the books is just false. They only provide more stories. But none are required to understand or have an opinion on Jedi dogma.

@777thenothing I think it’s more about forbidding family, marriage, parenthood, etc. Friends aren’t forbidden. The part that makes no sense is that Jedi themselves get attached to each other and love each other. So what’s the difference?

@think_starwars The jedi ask the impossible. To even know a person is to be attached to them in some way. For example if Yoda considered someone a friend he was attached in a subtle way. The mandalorian rule is simply absurd

@think_starwars I'm willing to accept using the line to criticise bringing back an old villain or the lack of build-up to it, but using it to say there was no explanation at all is just stupid. The first few minutes of the film provide the visual exposition to figure it out!

George Lucas included everything in the films. The books are great, but not needed to have this conversation.
