Today, members of our Orange & Black Gives Back team helped care for our Oriole Garden at Camden Yards in celebration of the garden’s 10th anniversary! Created in 2016 through a partnership with the @NWF and local organizations, the Oriole Garden is a beautiful native wildlife habitat at Camden Yards designed to attract orioles, butterflies, birds, and other important pollinators 🌱

Sharing a commitment to making a difference in the community 🤝 The Orioles and @Wegmans hosted a Field Day at Harlem Park Elementary School with Coby Mayo and Jeremiah Jackson to celebrate students who achieved academic and scholastic success 🧡

In support of Teacher Appreciation Week, we partnered with @Wegmans to provide lunch and gifts for the teachers and staff at Harlem Park! Thank you to our educators for everything you do to support students in our community 🧡

This week, the Orioles transformed a classroom into a new STEM Center at Tench Tilghman Elementary & Middle School in partnership with the @CalRipkenSrFdn.

From Harlem Park to The Yard 🧡 We stopped by Harlem Park Elementary/Middle School to hand out City Connect 2.0 x Harlem Park shirts to students alongside Keegan Akin, Chris Bassitt, their families, and members of our community team.

Yesterday, we spent the morning with students at Harlem Park Elementary/Middle School learning about the legacy of Jackie Robinson. From trivia and Kahoot challenges to great questions from the students, it was awesome to see their curiosity and love for the game on full display.

Unveiling a new field in Highlandtown 🙌 Yesterday, Orioles players and volunteers unveiled a revitalized field at Joseph E. Lee Park, the new home of Baltimore’s first Hispanic Nike RBI team, the Highlandtown Blue Jays. Presented by Coca-Cola Consolidated and Giant Food, this field offers youth in the Highlandtown community a place to come together and play the common language of baseball 🧡

Last month, we hosted a Beyond the Diamond seminar for students from Baltimore City and Baltimore County schools, as well as students from Liberty's Promise and our Nike RBI, supported by Giant Food, athletes. The seminar provided insight into potential career opportunities within the sports industry and encouraged continued engagement with the game beyond playing!

Surprising our rising stars 🧡 To celebrate Harlem Park Elementary Middle School moving up to a three-star school, the Orioles handed out giveaway items to the students!

Empowering the next generation of female athletes 💪 Thank you to Orioles Nike RBI, supported by Giant Food, and Baseball for All for hosting a Girls' Sports Clinic at Western High School over the weekend, helping boost confidence and promote camaraderie among these young girls!

In honor of National Girls and Women in Sports Day, Orioles Nike RBI, supported by Giant Food, teamed up with Baseball for All to host a Girls' Sports Clinic at Western High School today! This special event helps motivate and encourage young female athletes in our community as they discover their passion for baseball and softball 👏

Thank you to all the Orioles fans who helped pack food alongside our Orioles today! Their work will benefit @BlessinBackpack, and these bags will be going directly to feed the children of Beechfield Elementary and Middle Schools, just 4 miles away from Camden Yards. 100% of the ticket proceeds will benefit the Blessings in a Backpack project, with the Orioles matching the proceeds of all ticket sales!

Made possible with the support of the @CalRipkenSrFdn, the Orioles surprised two incredible schools with brand-new STEM Centers 🔬 These new STEM centers at Leith Walk Elementary Middle School and The Mount Washington School help move us closer to our goal of building eight STEM Centers across @BaltCitySchools!

In celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, our Orange & Black Gives Back volunteers partnered with Thread and @CareFirst for a day of service at Digital Harbor High School! The staff and administration have worked to transform the school into a space of welcoming and learning for all. This project continues those efforts by enhancing 20 student and faculty bathrooms with updated paint, artist-led murals, and inspirational wall decals.
