I've been checking out two recent(ish) factory game releases.
Don't bother with the Eden Crafters Demo. It's The Planet Crafter minus content, plus terrain modification and items on belts.
Do bother with FOUNDRY. It's literally automation Minecraft. Plenty of unique experiences
Oh no, my base 😭 - First teaser of Ocean World: Eden Crafters, a free episode where you terraform a planet with a little bit too much water! youtube.com/watch?v=jkoxyn…
@notch I'm not related to The Planet Crafter, I started the project before that game was released, but yeah I realized too that the name is pretty close :/ it's hard to find another good name but I'll definitely think more about this
@OsarisGames don't remember if you tweeted from this account, too lazy to look for it, but I eventually watched the trailer and holy fucking shit man.
I've been thinking about what I would do differently in a game like this as a potential game to make, and there's no longer a need for it, it seems. You hit all my key points in the trailer, most importantly making the terrain part of the building process.
Now, I'm aware you're probably not making the exact game that is in my head and, but I like what I see.
@notch Yeah you're definitely not a cat. Still, there's a mouse in front of you, and you can't resist playing with that mouse, right? Well you could use it to check out my next game :p store.steampowered.com/app/2570210/Ed…
I need to address the rumors of me being a furry:
1) no
2) "I'm a cat, let me out" sounds like "i'm a cat, let meow"
3) ok maybe I'd do gadget hackwrench
🚀Turn an entire planet into a new haven for humanity in Eden Crafters, upcoming open-world, survival and crafting game🎮

I put in the time to see what happened at the end of those 1500 sloooooow produced inserters to see what neat technology I'd get.
I got a "thanks for playing the demo" popup.
Thanks for wasting my time, Techtonica. I loved both frames per second of it.
