To make it all worse for us, the betting industry are capitalizing on the "anyhowness" of law enforcement to do sharp practices that sink people further into the crisis of gambling addiction . Nigerian Betting companies are not very strict on their deposit limits, on return from self exclusion ,on opening multiple accounts with new phone numbers or emails after doing a self exclusion from one account. All these make it difficult for a recovery not to relapse. Stiffer legislation should target these "nefarious" shylocks called bet companies in Nigeria. Their counterparts abroad are not like that.
