One of the best things a teacher can do for their students is to find little ways for them to experience success. Success is one of the best motivations there is. It increases the likelihood students will keep working when things get a little tougher.

A huge thank you to all of the schools that did absolutely everything they could to source and provide food for their communities during the unprecedented challenges of Covid lockdowns. Your communities will never forget what you did for them during their time of need.

Dismissing ideas that you dislike isn't critical thinking. It's confirmation bias. Critical thinking is approaching new information with a mix of curiosity and doubt. It starts with gauging the credibility of the source, the rigor of the logic, and the validity of the evidence.
