Yesterday, on #InternationalDayoftheNurse, our 12 fellows of the inaugural eINSPIRE Fellowship program celebrated their graduation. The eINSPIRE program provides support and guidance for point-of-care nurses at Osler who are striving for excellence in practice, education, research and leadership. Over the past six months, they have worked incredibly hard translating their learnings into evidence-informed practices. A special thank you to Chief Nursing & Professional Practice & Assistant Deputy Minister of Ontario, Dr. @KarimaVelji for joining us today as the fellows shared their final presentations and visiting our Dedication Education Unit.

Sahib Singh first started volunteering at Osler eight years ago and the experience had a profound impact on him. Now a second-year medical student at the University of Toronto, Sahib Singh continues to volunteer at Osler and contribute to the place and the people where his journey in health care began. "I have to carry this big accordion around, but I’m going to keep doing this as long as I possibly can!” Joining Osler as a volunteer in 2014, we captured Eugene playing accordion in the lobby at Brampton Civic in 2017. Nine years later, we bumped into him again, still doing what he loves. He now plays twice a week at Brampton Civic and Peel Memorial, sharing his talents and uplifting patients and visitors across our hospitals. #NationalVolunteerWeek
