Our newly renovated and relocated Advanced Diagnostics Lab at Brampton Civic is now open! The new open-concept space brings together molecular and immunohistochemistry testing—an integrated model that is unique to Osler and supports timely results and more effective treatment decisions. This exciting milestone marks another important step forward in cancer diagnosis by creating additional operational capacity and supporting future program growth.

Each spring we hold Community Remembrance Ceremonies to honour the patients and loved ones who passed away at our hospitals the previous year. The ceremonies, filled with music, readings and more, offer a meaningful opportunity for families, friends and Osler care providers to come together to honour the lives of those in our care. Last week we joined fellow Osler team members at the fourth annual ✨Going Beyond Awards & Gala✨ With over 800 nominations submitted across 20+ award categories, the spirit of dedication and appreciation among Osler team members filled the room. The Kay Blair Community Service Award, named in honour of past Osler Board Chair and passionate hospital champion, Kay Blair, was awarded to William (Bill) Stodolny for his remarkable dedication and the meaningful difference he makes an Osler volunteer. Yesterday, on #InternationalDayoftheNurse, our 12 fellows of the inaugural eINSPIRE Fellowship program celebrated their graduation. The eINSPIRE program provides support and guidance for point-of-care nurses at Osler who are striving for excellence in practice, education, research and leadership. Over the past six months, they have worked incredibly hard translating their learnings into evidence-informed practices. A special thank you to Chief Nursing & Professional Practice & Assistant Deputy Minister of Ontario, Dr. @KarimaVelji for joining us today as the fellows shared their final presentations and visiting our Dedication Education Unit.
