Scaffolds are meant to be TEMPORARY. Otherwise, we'd still be looking at the Statue of Liberty like this... It's no different for learning. Scaffolds were meant to be used & then eventually taken down.

I had a teacher give me a note that said: "Jane, you are a very kind and considerate person."  That was 43 years ago, and I still have the note. —Jane J. These 9 words changed how a child saw herself for the better. Who else can say they get to do that every day?
