Dhabas and roadside eating places are shutting down since they have no means to cook and feed. Hoards of workers and owners are rushing back to their native home creating situation similar to Covid crisis.

While Citizen is often associated with more attainable offerings, The CITIZEN line represents a more elevated side of the brand, centered on high-accuracy quartz and refined finishing. Today, we're looking at the AQ4100 model, which pairs a 38.3mm Super Titanium case with a blue textured washi paper dial, adding both visual depth and a functional role in allowing light to reach the Eco-Drive movement. Powering the watch is the Eco-Drive Caliber A060, delivering ±5 seconds per year along with a 7-month power reserve.

@chirag It happened for this very reason, my father was part of the proposal team for this project, which wanted to build a terminal in Gujarat.

Y'all are too young to rememeber. There was an Iran-India-Pakistan pipeline planned. Could've meant common prosperity. Then 26/11 happened.

Insane. Forget FIIs, DIIs & big NIIs have completely abandoned cash. Everyone who can is routing their rupees into literally everything else.

India spot #gold is still around $4,920/oz right now. That's a +$321 premium.

@vikpai How it went to the language app that came years ago versus today when the market feels saturated? Don't feel it is apples to apples comparison at all

@OtakuProcess The collective consumer desire to learn math just isn’t as strong as the desire to learn another language and as a result consumers don’t share it as much The most important part of consumer products is to have something to share other products

@mesnhl Between cold outbound and referrals, a layer of trust, be it through elite employer or college brand, is what makes all the difference. Using my "nepo" card tomorrow to pitch in an event organized at Raisina Hills.

Call it pedigree. Call it nepotism. Call it favoritism. Call it whatever makes you feel better about it - the world runs on network access. Once you cross a baseline of competence, the most important variable in your trajectory isn't how good you are. It's who you can pick up the phone and call. Here's the example that broke my bias permanently: Every Indian SaaS VC loves to say "Indian founders don't understand US GTM." I heard it so many times I started believing it. Then I spent 4 months in SF. Turns out, SF doesn't inherently understand US GTM either. They just have a little better network access - to the right design partners, the right early customers, the right angels who've done it before. That's the entire edge. Not some secret knowledge that lives in the Bay Area as I used to think earlier. Just proximity to people who've been in the room. And for me, this insight wasn't cynical. It was actually freeing. Because network isn't destiny - it's a skill. And unlike raw intelligence or luck of birth, it compounds with deliberate effort. I've watched deals close, hires get made, pivots get validated, and crises get solved in a single WhatsApp message - not because someone was smarter, but because they had the right person saved in their contacts. I can't quantify how much unlocks through network alone. It's genuinely embarrassing. So if there's one thing I'd tell every founder or operator reading this - treat network building with the same urgency you treat your roadmap. Not as a nice-to-have. Not as something you do at conferences twice a year. Every. Single. Day. The people who seem to have an unfair advantage usually just started this earlier than you. Feel free to hate me for being preachy, but according to me network is all that matters.

The Indian startup ecosystem still tilts heavily in favor of IITs. If you’re from the “OG” IITs - IIT Madras, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, your default graph is just stronger. Better investor connects. Warmer intros. Access to opportunities. And yes, having more IITians on your team does make fundraising easier. Pedigree compounds. These are just pattern-matched realities. But at NeoSapien, we are deliberately building against that bias. We don’t optimize for pedigree. We optimize for intensity. We want people who are irrationally passionate, question norms (non-negotiable), and are slightly delusional about what’s possible Because outliers don’t come from institutions. They come from obsession.

75% of our customers are from South India. North India is barely on the map. And that's not a product problem. It's an awareness problem. In South India, the weather demands it. The lifestyle reflects it. How do we tap the north indian market. North India is our biggest untapped market. Should we push hindi content ?
