Budget probably won’t allow it but if United are to get anywhere close to a title challenge they need an elite attacker. You need a prime Salah, Olise, Kvara, Yamal etc. Cunha, Mbeumo, Amad all great players in their own right but we need at least one attacker who’s a level above

Reminder than the Utd sporting structure (Jim Ratcliffe, Omar Berrada and Jason Wilcox) were perfectly content with Ruben Amorim, coming 15th last season, toiling around 6th this season, and selling Mainoo. Change was precipitated by a public airing of dirty laundry and an emotional meltdown by Amorim, not due to performances.

What I like about what De Zerbi is doing at Tottenham, everyone knows De Zerbi with possession football but for now, he knows what’s needed to get Tottenham over the line, he first of all ditched the possession style for a result style. One thing Amorim don’t understand..
