I don’t know where I’m going with this. I’m just ranting. I guess I wish I was a different person, one whose first reaction when receiving attention wasn’t fear. I’d be better off if I wasn’t scared to exist.

On the other hand. Keeping art to myself has always felt unfulfilling. Like making art for myself doesn’t keep me entertained, and I feel lonely. I want to share with people and talk about it and feel inspired to make more. Doesn’t matter, I don’t get reach like I used to.

My confession is, I’m more scared to post any art than ever before. It’s paradoxical. On one hand, I’m fearful of attention, I don’t know how to handle myself around people outside of the script of retail work or close friends I’ve already known for years. —

Every time someone bookmarks a post I made I get a little scared instead of thinking maybe they simply liked my art. Lol
