@TimothyJHarris4 @Zeldrin7485 @DoyougrokGary @wendelltalks Technically life is short because in this life it simply has an ending. In comparison to eternal life its short. If you want to get more technical, living for like 500 years at one point was normal. It's in the Bible. But this life simply has an ending because we disobeyed God.

@Outadawhale @Zeldrin7485 @DoyougrokGary @wendelltalks when you start saying childhood cancer is just a little reminder from god, and call this "grace", thats how you know you're in a cult.
English

@DoyougrokGary @wendelltalks Everything beyond this is just entertainment for you. It's sad that in your belief this is all you have to live for. Because in your belief beyond entertainment you have nothing. Even the idea of you thinking you might be remembered for this is just for your entertainment. Vain

You are the one who does not realize that what you are describing is NATURE, not God.
The reason God does not turn asteroids into cotton candy is because that is not possible in Nature.
Nature is all there is and it follows its OWN laws.
Perhaps the problem is that you are too TERRIFIED to accept that Nature is all there is. It does not need a god. It, rather than your invented god, actually exists.
English

@DoyougrokGary @wendelltalks God created natural law. The way you seem to grasp this God could turn all the asteroids into candy and you would think it was special effects and/or something that just wasn't explainable yet. God is too simple and yet too complicated of an answer for you to accept.
English

It shows nothing of the sort. It shows that if there is a god, he is constrained by natural laws.
What would really be impressive would be to see the God turn the space debris into soft sponge cake and marshmallows as it approaches earth. Instead he appears to use processes that are indistinguishable from nature and applies the same to every object in the universe. Earth is not special.
God could really impress us and show us his power by turning the space debris into tasty soft sweets.
Now that would be impressive.

@Zeldrin7485 @DoyougrokGary @wendelltalks It's not evil it's grace. You see it as Him causing people to suffer. You don't see it as Him reminding everyone that life is short, that now is the time to accept His salvation. You don't see it as a reminder to the kids family to rely on Him. Some of us are closest to Him then.
English

@Outadawhale @DoyougrokGary @wendelltalks Is childhood cancer showing us his love? What about hurricanes that destroy entire communities? People who have polio and have to spend their entire life in an iron lung in the same room?
Tell me why you thank God for the shield from the space rocks but don't blame him for evil
English

@DoyougrokGary @wendelltalks Your correct that God created it all and can do what He pleases. But you're blind to the fact of how much this even slightly shows how much power He has, but at the same time how much He cares for us within His creation.
English

@wendelltalks Um, isn't god sending the space debris? Why would he need to make a shield?
Just don't send the space debris our way!!!

@mcuban As much as I hate the idea, if Harris is able to stall/prevent a change in the presidency. I would predict a civil war and the majority of law enforcement not on her side.

I wish Biden would come out and say he wants Trump on the ballot. The 14th doesn't apply. Then thanks him for the playbook describing how to never leave office and the appreciation of knowing he can't be charged, no matter what he does. And ends it with " My Fellow Americans , I'm not ever going to leave the White House and there is nothing you can do to me. "
Which would confirm exactly why SCOTUS will keep Trump off the ballots and why Trump will never get immunity

@ViperRead @GigaBasedDad Ill be smiling from ear to ear if this is true
English

@GigaBasedDad We in the UK have consistently voted Conservative for over a decade now. Our politicians are liars and will be dealt with soon enough when they take a staggering loss to who ever beats them. You'll see.

@PicturesFoIder The perspective change right at the big moment is the give away.
English

@CorySonofAnder Personally I think we should have property tax and only property tax. It should be based on the cubic foot, and not the value of the home though.
English

@farmingandJesus Where's your line of it's in God's Hands, and/or He is waiting for us to act on what He's already told us to do, or carry out accordingly?

@cat_auras Honestly I joined around the same day it became X, so I call it X, and make an effort to do so, but I more often than not have to explain to the others around me I'm talking about twitter. Its like the Sears tower in Chicago. I'll likely always call it the Sears tower.

@crazyclipsonly Last I knew if the U.S. military are in uniform, and get spit on, they have the right to punch the offender under the assumption of biological warfare. You don't have any idea what someone is potentially contaminating you with. Including their own diseases.
English

@lncmpltemission The employee had the right, it's such a sad reality though
