@scott0960b @dubyadirt Hey Scott. The laser etching is actually groves in the plastic. If they have dirt or oil in the groves they will fade. Grab a can of brake cleaner and spray and rub them. The words should come back. If not…. Send us a picture and we’ll look after you.

@JarrodAmery @kingswaywelding Most times that will help bring the writing back. Unfortunately, if your wraps are exposed to an abrasive environment for long periods of time without being cleaned, the laser print can be completely filed down.

@kingswaywelding @OutbackWrap are very good for the first 24 months until the printed writing on them rubs/wears off and makes them unreadable. I’ve replaced most of ours for the 2nd time. Great when new, frustrating when needing to be replaced.

Just wanting to get some ideas on how to label our hydraulic hoses. We’ve had a few customers ask for something but we haven’t found anything that we believe will last as long as the roller. We’ve found these ones below that look fairly durable. Suggestions?

@JarrodAmery @kingswaywelding Due to the nature of this product and the job is has to do, the lasered grooves will get filled with dirt, oil, grease, etc. We recommend to our customers to use a brake cleaner or a solvent to rub on the wraps to try to clean out those grooves.
