@learning_yohei Lol, I’m studying Japanese and I definitely think the same about Nihon. Japanese is literally the language with the most syllables per minute. I speak English and Spanish (one of the fastest), but Japanese is in a completely different league.

I’m Japanese and studying English… but why do native speakers speak so FAST when they get excited? 😭 I nod and smile like I understand… but I’m actually lost after 3 seconds 😂 Does this happen to you too? American English or British English — which one is faster for you?

@iAnonPatriot That is cultural appropriation. When the USA took the West from Mexico, they didn't know how to work the land, so they adopted Mexican cowboy techniques. Even the terminology for the equipment has Mexican cowboy origins.

@BeatrizLinette @mageeclegg Se parece a las playas del norte de California, casi llegando a Oregon, las californias tienen playas muy bonitas como esa, aunque las unicas playas de arena blanca en las Californias estan en Baja, estan en un ecosistema muy peliculiar a nivel global.

@Outerspace97069 @mageeclegg Puede ser, para mí una linda playa no es necesariamente una explanada kilométrica de arena blanca y agua transparente, nuestra costa es bastante rocosa y tiene acantilados, es como la de California ya que el clima es parecido, supongo que cuando vives aquí terminas amándola.

Mexico 🇲🇽 is loud. Chile 🇨🇱 is quiet. I lived in Mexico for 6 years… Then spent the last year in Chile. I forgot… 🇲🇽 Music everywhere. Vendors shouting. Horns, bells, voices on top of each other. It’s a beautiful kind of chaos… 🇨🇱 Voices stay low. People are aware of each other. Play music on the beach… you’ll get fined for it. I miss Mexico 🇲🇽… but a quiet beach in Chile 🇨🇱 is hard to beat.

@BeatrizLinette @mageeclegg Casi nunca voy durante el Verano, de hecho cuando voy a Chile es para huir del calor donde vivo.. las montañas de chile son hermosas, obviamente tiene algunas buenas, el pacifico es famoso por no tener playas de clase mundial, incluso las mas bonitas se quedan en decentes.

@Iberianamerica If comparing cheap brands of course this is true. Mexico can’t make a better burger than “The Stand”. Better quality ingredients out there for sure on basic items for that burger, but once we get into true quality, they can’t beat an American burger.
