كلام غير دقيق القانون اتعدل في يناير ولا يخص المغادره ولكن الإقامة أكثر من ثلاثة أشهر ووزارة الدفاع صرحت رسمياً بالآتي: die Genehmigung als erteilt gilt, solange der Wehrdienst freiwillig ist." وهذا معناه التصريح ممنوح تلقائيا طالما الخدمة العسكرية اختيارية وهي كذلك حتي اللحظة

قانون جديد في ألمانيا... يُمنع على أي رجل يحمل الجنسية الألمانية وعمره ما بين 17 - 45 عام مغادرة البلاد دون تصريح مسبق من الجيش الألماني (البوندسفير). القانون تم تمريره بهدوء ولم يلحظه أحد حتى لا يسبب ذعر أو توتر في البلاد.
