@Timoldland Brought to you by the same corporate idiots that thought a 4cyl C63 was a good idea. Mercedes used to reek of class. Functional, elegant. Now they are just tasteless inside and out - not somewhere I'm going to spend any time (unlike my present W204 C Class)
English

Dear Mercedes - please fuck off with this gaudy shite.

Here's your first look inside the new Mercedes C-Class – and at its HUGE screen 🤯 buff.ly/6AS1yfz

@Only9built Depends what you want it for. They say an F40 is the best but you might not think so if you've got to pick up the old lady from the end of the road then pop round to the village hall on a wet Thursday night because it's WI
English

@Only9built 3, 7, 12, 14, 18. But I know you'll pick 11 but that's in US spec so i wouldn't. I'd go 4 if it was a 1050 Sport but it isn't so I'll risk the Pug.

@OlivierAwards @cunardline @BBCiPlayer They played an extract of a song on the BBC the other morning. It was awful... as in a tuneless mismatch of words and sounds rather as in full of awe

Japan stands tall once more.
Yesterday in Fujisawa, thousands of ordinary Japanese, proud, unapologetic, and utterly clear-eyed, took to the streets to kill the first mosque in their city stone dead before the foundations were even poured.
They saw the plans: a colossal Islamic complex deliberately designed to dwarf a neighbouring Shinto shrine, a deliberate act of cultural aggression dressed up as “diversity.” And they said no.
Not with polite petitions or hand-wringing seminars, but with raw, disciplined numbers and the simple refusal to let their homeland be colonised.
These are a people who have watched the West’s slow-motion suicide with forensic attention.
They have listened while our politicians lied through their teeth about “integration” and “moderate Islam.” And they have drawn the only rational conclusion: Islam is not a private faith like Shinto or Christianity; it is a political and demographic project that does not stop until it dominates.
Japan has no intention of repeating our mistake.
This is what national self-respect looks like.
A homogeneous, high-trust society that puts its own people and its own ancient culture first, without apology, without the suicidal guilt our elites have force-fed us for decades.
They understand that once you open the gates to mass Islamic settlement, you don’t get “enrichment.” You get parallel societies, demands for sharia, halal everything, and eventually the demographic swamping of the native population.
Japan looked at Europe and Britain and chose survival.
To every Englishman watching: this is the standard.
This is what a serious country does when it still loves itself.
We used to be that country.
Our ancestors built the greatest empire the world has ever seen precisely because they refused to be ashamed of who they were.
Now we watch foreign flags fly over our cities while our own are treated as relics.
The Japanese have reminded us what it means to put your own people first.
Well done, Japan.
You have preserved something precious that we in the West have been criminally careless with.
The rest of us should be taking notes, before it’s too late.

@AndyBasildon @HJB_News__ I can tell you the last thing people whose ethnic origin is in muslim countries care about is the environment. Absolutely the last thing

@HJB_News__ i`m so old i remember when the "loony" green party was all about saving the planet and walking everywhere..
