Good afternoon, Today, I want to sincerely thank you for standing with me and believing in this movement for a better Òyó state so far. Your support, dedication, prayers, and encouragement mean so much to me. For me, this is a journey bigger than politics. On this sacred day of Good Friday, I send my warm greetings to our Christian brothers and sisters across Oyo State and beyond. This sacred moment is a time to quietly reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the powerful message of love, humility, and forgiveness it represents. It reminds us that even in difficult moments, there is hope, purpose, and a greater good ahead. As we mark this day, I encourage us all to show kindness, support one another, and keep faith alive not just in words, but in our daily actions. Let us also continue to pray for peace, unity, and progress in our dear state and country. May this Good Friday bring calm to your heart, strength to your spirit, and hope for better days ahead. OH

Considering the fact that the APC as an opposition in Oyo isn't that solid at the moment factions are fighting for structure, I'm rooting for Remi Oseni though whose chance is very low. On the other side, the entire Accord structure is under Oriyomi as a third force with his organic fanbase 🤔

Looking at these six faces, each candidate brings experience and credentials but also gaps that matter for Oyo State leadership. Senator Fatai Buhari has decades of legislative experience and a stable political profile. His weakness is limited hands-on state executive exposure, which may affect translating policy into tangible results for the people. Hon Remi Oseni shows strong grassroots work within party structures, yet his influence has not fully scaled across Oyo State. Adebayo Penkelemesi brings technocratic and ministerial expertise, but as Power Minister, reliable electricity remains elusive for many citizens despite reforms. Critics argue that infrastructure promises have not matched lived experience on stable supply. Senator Teslim Folarin has leadership experience and name recognition from Senate tenure, yet repeated gubernatorial losses raise questions about his ability to unite and win across the state. Hon Stanley Odidi Omo delivers in his federal constituency, but his visibility and mobilisation outside it are limited, which may challenge statewide appeal. Then there is Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat, who built trust and impact long before entering partisan politics. His work in community development, youth empowerment, and social advocacy has created a deep connection with people. He listens, acts, and empowers. His relative newness in partisan politics is balanced by credibility, integrity, and grassroots reach few others can match. Experience matters, but Oyo needs leadership that connects, inspires, and delivers for the people. On that measure, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat stands apart not by hype, but by proven impact and genuine connection with the electorate.
