It was so very special to have aunt (mum's sister and my Godmother) and uncle, along with Bishop Paul Bayes and Dean David Ison (both of whom helped me form my @OzanneFoundn) with me on my special day...I felt surrounded by so much love and support... #feelingblessed

It was a huge honour to receive my OBE at Windsor Castle from the Prince of Wales, who expressed concern that #conversionpractices still occurred in UK It was made even more special by me learning that a draft bill banning these abusive practices was to be published the next day

Just sat & listened to announcement of draft #conversionpractices bill. In floods of tears. I agree with Minister @oliviabaileymp - shame on Tories for not supporting a bill they first announced in 2018 was their 'top LGBT+ priority'. Now at least we know why it took so long...

What a couple of days! So pleased to be at the announcement, finally, of a ban on #conversionpractices. It's been a long road, but definitely a team effort. So pleased to be with the Minister for #Equalities, Olivia Bailey, and other key #LGBTQ campaigners to celebrate today.

EXCL: Hearing from multiple sources tonight that the government is moving at pace to announce the long-promised ban on so-called conversion therapy in the coming days. The ban was first pledged by Theresa May but got caught up in complexities with regards to gender identity.

Hmm...someone needs to let #CentralChancery know that not all #OBE members can get married in @StPaulsLondon OBE Chapel! I know it's a generic letter, but it is rather ironic given what I'm actually being awarded my OBE for!! You'd have thought they'd be more sensitive by now.

Sad to see David go & quite surprised by his comments - we set up a #Savings Task Group a while back now, but recognise that far too often so-called budget ‘cuts’ actually lead to longer term increases in spending, so it’s a difficult balance to achieve & requires some thought..
