The amount of technical books I’ve been able to consume with it, bless Google.

Read these books too and they gave me solid insights into understanding data systems.
Also read PostgreSQL Mistakes and How to Avoid Them.
I find that NotebookLM is a vey good study companion.

Database Internals: Complete. I've now read both this and DDIA over the past 9 months. In some ways I liked DI more than DDIA. DDIA is great, but felt it was too verbose in the second half. DI is shorter and tighter. Every single engineer can benefit from reading Database Internals. (Yes, even all of you React Miami-ers!) This won't teach you everything, but it's a great place to start.

We are overstimulated and we don't even notice. Netflix while eating. Reels in the bathroom. Music while cooking. Podcasts on walks. We consume by default, not by intention.
