When I first saw the kabah I got super excited and was determined to be in the first row for the next prayer I decided to stay in the haram after fajr until dhuhr in 50° heat By the time the adhaan went off I’d strategically positioned myself to be in the very front row We were all lined up around the kabah as the security guards passed us a rope so they could create a perimeter around the kabah to clean it I noticed some tape on my left hand side that was on the floor in a line from the kabah all the way to the walls of the haram but took no real notice of it I was so excited to pray in front of the kabah, in touching distance Then all of a sudden some guy from the other side of the tape starts shouting in my direction in Arabic, waving and making a ❌ sign with his hands I, not knowing Arabic at the time, ignored him I was so excited, overcome with anticipation of being right infront of the kabah during my prayer Then it happened The guards started shouting, ordering and pulling people back to clear the space between the tape on my left and the tape on my right I didn’t know it at the time, but I’d rushed and waited to stand in a place where you’re not allowed to pray So after waiting for like 6 hours to pray in the first row, I was sent away 😞✊
