So undoubtedly this is just blitzclique's shiina in ordenance with sets having all things archetypal in a single wave, which is appreciated More generically splashable than shiina but also notably worse however technically infinitely recursive and searchable I love this card

@BigBussy23 Thats what I mean, you dont really get why that card was good. Beatrice was used as a bridge between Fiendsmith and SE because you could make Princess after Beatrice to summon the Snash. That wouldnt be possible with the new Link 5

@Ozzy30 Snake eye played Beatrice though 😭 why would they not run a link they can easily climb into that lets them bridge

This will be another A Bao A Qu. Twitter crashing out about a card being insanely broken just for it to be good at best while being used by maybe 1-2 Decks. What Deck right now would invest 5 bodies into a foolish 1? Dracotail? Radiant? Yummy? K9? What target would be good enough

@BigBussy23 The best link spam Deck we've ever had Snake-Eye most likely wouldnt play this. You can tell me how right you were when this card gets banned 10 years into the future

@BigBussy23 Do you even play the game? What kind of engine wants to make this give an example? Just one, tell me one scenario in which this card is good. Making bodies is something every Deck does but no one wants to invest 5 for a foolish 1. Make something up for all I care

@BigBussy23 Both are still a lot easier to make than this link 5. Saying that you "realistically just need 2" is just crazy. You still have to invest into the Links you make before and even if youre Linkclimbing (with what cards??). Tell me what "generic engine" wants to make this??

@Ozzy30 Curious needed 3 monsters with different types and couldn't linkclimb, and Beatrice needed 2 monsters with the (formerly) worst levels in the game. Needing 5 materials (realistically just 2) is only going to matter until the next generic engine breaks this card wide open.

@BigBussy23 You would be correct with a generic Lavalval Chain. Chain, Beatrice and Curious were all too good but there is a significant difference: They only needed 2 cards of investment and also had a bonus effect. This needs FIVE CARDS

@Ozzy30 Idk, I don't lab shit. I just think having a generic laval chain isn't a good idea since it didn't work the last 4 times

@Ozzy30 The cost is hardly a problem though, 5 monsters is easy. You can linkclimb to lessen the cost, you can use handtraps and then add them back, you can do anything

@BigBussy23 A Bao is mostly generic you can always just make a Knightmare while link climbing. And yes it doesnt do a lot yet it still does more than the new link 5. The new Link 5 might be fully generic but needs 5 bodies so it definitely does have a cost and the towers is easily outable

@Ozzy30 I also feel like we're comparing apples to oranges. A bao is not generic, discards tons of cards, and is only a pop. This new link 5 is fully generic, has no costs, and converts into a towers

@Ozzy30 Mitsu generates 5 bodies and then uses those to bridge into another engine, which then uses its bodies to do its own plays, Yubel has like no tops after being unhit and has too tight an extra deck, the good fiendsmith decks also have too tight an extra

@BigBussy23 And if there is conveniently a restriction on every Deck that makes you unable to play A Bao then A Bao is just a bad card. Light and Dark Link Decks just dont want a card like A Bao, they cant play it, its too much investment or A Bao is just bad

@BigBussy23 Maliss doesnt lock into Cyberse thats just a lie they lock into Links, Mitsu by itself generates up to 5 bodies and they also play another engine most of the time, Live Twin used it but was bad, The good fiendsmith decks didnt use it, Yubel also got unhit afterwards

Looks like this is Sheena for Blitzclique. Not necessarily a bad card because its searchable with the new Thunder Rota but definitely way worse than Sheena

@BigBussy23 From the top of my head since ABao release in Suda early 2025 we've had Maliss, Mitsurugi, Live Twin, any Fiendsmith Deck, Yubel, Ignister and Solfachord (maybe even more) Light/Dark Decks that could have potentially been playing A Bao. None of them did or they werent good enough

@Ozzy30 Abao is good it's just light/dark link support in a format with few light/dark decks that want to link summon

@atrocityTCG That might be true but at this point we as a community should be aware that Special Summon floodgates shouldnt be in the game anyway also A Bao gives you her effect twice because its a Quick Effect

@Ozzy30 Okay but to be fair they did ban a card specifically for a bao (jowgen), but the problem with a bao is that she discards so many cards However this is a link 5

Me when I'm playing Magnet Warrior but it's actually just Naturia Beast + Colossus turbo and I ended up going 4-0 today.

@Shark032_ I know what you mean but this card is way way worse than Baronne or Apo. Baronne was an Omni, Opt Pop and Monster Reborn in Standby. Apo was 4 Monster negates. Both of them were a lot stronger than a 0 attack foolish 1 and both of them were also easier to summon

@Ozzy30 My point was more like: cards like Apo and Baronne were printed with those effects because they were hard to summon at the time, but if that thing change, they should go, that’s what i fear about this link or similar cards

@3417gekko This is absolutely great for Meme combo lines but if youre investing 5 bodies into this going second to get a foolish 1 + hydradrive boardclear thats a fine usecase. Not unfair

@Shark032_ Not 5 bodies but 4 bodies + an extra ressource. Doesnt change much Apollousa was a problem before. The only reason she wasnt banned was because Konami at some point for some reason liked generic negates for no cost Fair I also dont think the Dragunity Link 4 should exist

@Ozzy30 4 bodies since having a monster in hand (even searching it) is pretty easy, just wait for a deck that can abuse it. Apollousa wasn’t a problem until it become super easy to summon with Fiendsmith / Snake Eye. Also, the Dragunity Link 4 is generic yk

@Shark032_ If you invest 5 bodies into a foolish you worked hard enough. Ash, Veiler, Imperm all stop the 5 material investment. The Dragunity link 4 is also irrelevant because the deck is just that bad. Is A-to-Z Dragon Buster Cannon too strong? No, no one complains about that card

@Ozzy30 People aren’t concerned about the present, but rather the future, cards like this, alongside the Dragunity Link 4, are dangerous and shouldn’t have been printed at all.
