Cardano SPO and DRep @ItsDave_ADA , representing 71.38M ADA in voting power, has voted YES on Strike finance V2's proposal to deploy 9M ADA from the treasury into on-chain perpetuals liquidity.
The 12-month deployment aims to deepen liquidity and generate an estimated ~10% annualized yield, with the principal and returns ultimately going back to the Cardano treasury.

Het probleem bij het belastingdebat is dat het telkens over het verhogen van belastingen gaat en de manier waarop. Maar dat zou niet het punt moeten zijn….
Het zelfde zien we bij inflatie, waarbij het vooral gaat de hoogte ervan en het verhogen van de rente de ja of de nee.
Terwijl er niet of nauwelijks wordt gesproken over de rol van geldcreatie.
En zo zien we nu opnieuw dat er bij het belastingdilemma. Er wordt gediscussieerd over hogere of lagere tarieven, maar nauwelijks over de onderliggende oorzaak van de steeds grotere financieringsbehoefte van de overheid.
Ondertussen groeide het ambtenarenapparaat in zes jaar tijd met ongeveer 12%, terwijl de productiviteit met ongeveer 9% daalde. Dáár zou het debat eens over moeten gaan.

@GezondeSporter @vester71 Het geërfde geld vloeit vaak weer terug de economie in. Dat is een betere besteding dan overmaken aan de overheid. De echt grote erfenissen pakken ze overigens niet aan want die zijn vaak al buiten bereik van de NL fiscus. Dit is gewoon een extra belasting voor de middenklasse.

Stop obsessing over TPS.
One of the biggest misconceptions in crypto is that the blockchain with the highest TPS automatically wins.
TPS is just one metric. User experience is what ultimately matters.
The real question isn’t “How many transactions per second can your chain process?” It’s: How quickly can a transaction be securely validated and considered final?
A blockchain claiming millions of TPS means very little if transactions fail, get reordered, or require long waiting times before settlement.
Cardano’s eUTXO architecture approaches scalability differently. Rather than chasing a marketing-friendly TPS number, it focuses on deterministic execution, parallelization, security, and predictable finality.
As Ouroboros and Cardano’s scaling roadmap continue to evolve, the conversation should shift from:
❌ “How high is your TPS?”
to:
✅ “How fast, secure, and reliable is the user’s experience?”
In the long run, the winners won’t be the chains with the biggest TPS screenshots.
They’ll be the networks that deliver the best combination of latency, finality, security, and scalability.
Performance isn’t about processing the most transactions. It’s about processing them correctly, securely, and fast enough for real-world adoption.
