The money is the money...you could make an argument they overpaid Wagner. But yeah the coach has to go before I think of trading a guy like Paulo

The key to beating Cleveland will be to make Mitchell a playmaker and Harden a scorer. The Raptors have a legit chance against the Cavs but please understand, this is a veteran-laden, deep, talented team with all the pressure in the world.
And they have the better backcourt.

@fricyfire__ @iamrahstradamus If you say so - I know his 3pt % isn't ideal and his FG% is in the lower 40% range, but the overall numbers are solid. If it were up to me, I'd get rid of Franz and add some more depth off the bench. This team has an "addition by subtraction" move written all over it...

@P1M4THARU @iamrahstradamus honestly both are a concern. the bane trade is among the worst i’ve ever seen. not like paolo is helping them tho. also paolo making that much money limits their roster construction bc a bad player is taking up hella money, so technically paolo is a bigger concern than anything

@fricyfire__ @iamrahstradamus Yeah I'm sure they've been better with him off the court, but tbh where has that even put them? Have they finished top 4 in the east within the last 5 years? Maybe once a top 5 finish? The roster construction is more of a concern than Paulo making that much money.

Definitely heard some cheers coming from the Raps room when Garza hit the game-winner for Boston, but RJ Barrett insists they didn't have a preference between Cleveland or New York. He played (and beat) the Cavs in the 4-5 matchup when he was with the Knicks in 2023.
