P3R at EPS

It’s Maths Week Scotland and there seems to have been a bit of a problem in P3R!

We’ve had a super week so far in P3. We’ve been learning about Growth and Fixed mindsets - ask us about these at home! Look out for the Sway that will be sent home on Friday for lots more information about P3. PE next week (and every week going forward) will be Monday and Friday.

It’s been so lovely meeting and getting to know our fabulous P3 class! Just a reminder that PE this week will be Tuesday and Friday. 🌟🌟🌟

P3R really enjoyed writing recipes, designing, making and trying fabulous fruit salads yesterday!

What fun we had on our Teddy Bear Picnic this morning! 🧸

P2, P2/3 and P3 will be going out for our teddy bear picnic tomorrow! It's meant to be dry but please check the weather forecast in the morning and be prepared for the weather 🌧️ 🌞. If they suffer from hay fever make sure they have their antihistamine in the morning!

This afternoon we celebrated all of our Eco activities throughout the year by hosting a brand new Eco Schools flag during a whole school ceremony. We are so proud to be an eco-friendly school and will continue to do our best to help save the planet. @KSBScotland

We have a summer picnic for lunch on Wednesday. The children are welcome to wear something summery like a sun hat, shades etc with their PE kit that day! 😎☀️🌞🍉

We had so much fun at the BMX stunt show today, as a reward for finishing in the top 3 Edinburgh schools for the Big Walk and Wheel. Thanks very much @SustransScot and a very big thanks to @missmarshalleps for organising it all! @MrJohns19 was very brave 😆👏

We’re loving this sunshine in P3! Please remember to put suncream on the children in the morning and it might be a good idea to bring a cap or sun hat. Please also remember to pack a water bottle.

Please remember suncream, water bottles and a change of socks for Sports Day tomorrow! The grass can be wet in the mornings and we don’t want soggy feet for the rest of the day! 🏅🎖️🏅
