I will delete this later, but... my mum has died this evening. I've phoned various relatives and hugged my kids but now I'm at a loss of what to do. What do you do when your mum dies? I feel adrift. (250 miles away so can't quite pop around tonight....)
@WanderingPsych I can't even begin to imagine your feeling of loss right now. When my mum died about 3 years ago, to sit with her, hold her hand and just talk about her and what she had done for us, her family, was a gift. It is those last moments together that I still hold when I think of her.
@JenCamJenCam@echlineprimary That looks fantastic Max! I am, as we speak, preparing the next lesson around surface area and volume so Max's boat will give him a good start...
Over the next few days the gas giants Jupiter & Saturn will appear to move closer together in our sky. This will peak on the 21st December, our Winter Solstice. If you are in the UK look south west from 4.30pm GMT. They will have sunk beneath the horizon by 6.20 - #getoutandlook
This week in science P3/4 considered things that we know exist but we can't see like wind, electricity and magnetism. We then used iron filings to observe magnetic fields. 😁
This week in science P5 finished their water topic. We investigated smell, clarity and appearance of tap, well, sea and puddle water before deciding which was which. Then we obtained salt by evaporating the salt water!
THE RESULTS🔎 P2b were extremely excited to see the results of our germ experiment! Interestingly the results showed washing hands with soap and water was better than hand sanitiser! We were shocked at the germs on the unwashed hands and floor 😱 #STEMeducation
