Want some hard truths? The only ones to blame for a project pumping and dumping is *your* greed and FOMO. "X project sucks, they literally pumped and dumped" Yeah cause 99% of the people in web 3 are here to speculate and make money. Nothing is based on actual quality, just hype and profitability. Doesn't matter if the project built something or is still delivering, if their NFT collection lost value the whole project is trash. Maybe the project isn't trash but it was mispriced by *your* fear of missing out on the latest hype your favorite influencers shilled you. Bull-markets don't help this at all as euphoria is literally oozing from everywhere, people are making more magic internet money than they know how to spend/re-invest and are hoping to make x100-x1000 more in a short term period. Something that is literal trash can be perceived as a "grail" just because it performed well financially. But it can lose its grail status in an instant if/when it dumps. People in the space have the attention span of a goldfish. They forget faster than *insert your favorite pump-n-dump NFT project*. My advice to artists and builders is to do all you can to not please that toxic 99% percent but focus on that quality 1% who are here to support you and what you are building. Because they believe in the vision, the product, the art or whatever you are doing. You will never win if you are trying to please the flippers and opportunists. Any success will probably be short term. Also it's smart to phase out and ignore most of the negative comments in most cases as they are baseless and revolve around the monetary aspect. No need to fuck up your mental state for such people. This is very different to constructive criticism... Rant over. Peace✌️💙
