The @MSRC_ATL launched at the @HighMuseumofArt, this morning with baguettes and spaghetti flying through the air! That’s what happens when your partner in promoting early literacy is the whimsical @alliancetheatre reading (and giving away!) their original picture book, “DINOSAUR!” Thank you to the early learning programs and families who brought their little ones to the most delightfully wild read-aloud in MSRC history and to all our other attendees: Our community partners and board members, @AtlSpeechSchool, Andrew L. Last week, PAACT Director Shawnell Johnson spoke at @CobbCollaborate's strategy meeting. She delivered a captivating presentation highlighting how PAACT secured a historic $20 million investment in early childhood education.

This week, more than 40 people from across Atlanta and Marietta gathered at @AtlSpeechSchool’s Love Auditorium for Literacy & Justice for All’s (LJFA) annual end-of-year celebration! The evening was exploring impact data, sharing lessons learned, & making meaningful connections.

We recently visited Globe’s Learning Center to celebrate the completion of their repair and renovation project. Thanks to grant funding from PAACT, there is now an upgraded baby room and new kitchen appliances.

We joined Mayor @andreforatlanta & Janean Lewis, his Senior Advisor on Youth Development & Education Policy, for a press conference where they highlighted several fantastic programs supporting Atlanta’s children and families—including PAACT’s Repair and Renovation Grant program!
