Our study revealed that combined injection/topical treatment presents a promising approach; topical treatment potentially reducing the required frequency of injections.

We explored applying a drug (ranibizumab) topically, to the front of the eye, either as drops or from a drug-releasing contact lens.

The aim of the SIG is to bring together clinicians, experimentalists and quantitative scientists, to discuss the current state of the field, and the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. This SIG will consist of 3 brief talks, followed by a time of structured discussion.
