@SarahsSojourns @LetsGoSMWElse St. Louis, MO, USA makes kids perform also. People moving into the city are confused when the kids say jokes after they get any candy. Wonder if we got it from you all.
English

@LetsGoSMWElse Come to Scotland! We're where most of the US traditions came from!
Except we call it guising instead of trick or treat and we have to perform to get the sweet (usually a joke, I'd recite poetry from LOTR because I'm a huge geek)

If you want to hear the ends and outs and victories and challenges of firefighting in the U.S., check out @WhatMakesUsFire podcast. Great guy.

@RTWBarefoot I’m sure you’ll find some fun adventures.
English

I have, albeit temporarily, moved to #Sheffield.
Partly for the sake of my mental health. And partly for potential opportunities, being closer to a bigger city's centre.
I hope I've made the right decision. It means less foreign travel but that was always the case this year.

What destinations are about to explode in popularity?
#travel
English

@MandyMPower @WWTravelChat That is awesome. Great pics also. How long did you stay out? I think I could have done that all day.
English

@PBandPassports @WWTravelChat Yes, we found at least four. Then they served us a truffle feast. It was black truffle season still.

English

Q5. Did you try anything new in 2019 - a new experience or destination? How was it, and will you do it again? #WeekendWanderlust

English

@MandyMPower @WWTravelChat I have always wanted to do that. Did you find many?
English

A6 Surprising for me but maybe not for others but Des Moines. Loved the downtown and the people. Pretty cool nightlife and restaurants. #WeekendWanderlust
English

@WWTravelChat A5: Volunteered with a turtle rescue organization in Costa Rica with my nephew. It was a new experience and near Tortuguero NP where I’d never been in Costa Ric before. #WeekendWanderlust

English

@WWTravelChat Yes! We went truffle hunting! 10/10 would recommend. #weekendwanderlust
English

@wildheartedblog I was about to say the same thing. I am looking forward to the next time I can go. Hopefully someplace with colorful fish and cool things to see.
English

A5: YES! Scuba diving and it has changed my life. I've already done it 3 more times this year and have many many more plans to do it as much as possible. #WeekendWanderlust
English

@Polymathically @ABritSoutherner Wow! Sounds wonderful!
English

@ABritSoutherner A1: Yup, I crossed some pretty big ones off the list this year: Brazil, Argentina, Alaska, and China. Rio de Janeiro, Iguazu Falls, Juneau, Glacier Bay, Skagway, Victoria BC (went back there for the 1st time in 30 years!), Beijing, The Great Wall, Shanghai... #WeekendWanderlust
English

Q1. Let's reflect on the last 12 months - are you satisfied with your travel accomplishments? #WeekendWanderlust

English

@travelingmitch I wish there was an ap you could log wait times for different companies so everyone could statistically compare customer service.
English

And that’s a wrap on the most fun hour on Twitter! Thank for making it great. Join us again for the next #WeekendWanderlust #Travel Chat – every Thursday night at 9 Eastern. Join us on Facebook for the Weekend Blog Party tomorrow, too: bit.ly/2KToIP6

English

@tspadventure I have been to Naples twice and both times they had garbage strikes so I didn’t stay long. I did like the food though.
English

@PBandPassports I've never been! Currently in Naples right now (my second visit) and not sure I need to come back here either...
English

Hey #TravelTribe! For this #TravelTuesday, what's a city you would never want to return to?
Mine would have to be Milan. I was super underwhelmed and it was my first taste of Italy. However, I loved the Lake Como area, which is a great day trip from Milan!
