Hiking to the birthplace of the Caycuse Cookie in Ditidaht and Pacheedaht territory. The Cookie comes from a 750 year old Douglas Fir, cut down in 2020 during the #FairyCreek #oldgrowth conflict. A print of the Cookie now hangs in the Max Bell Theatre. #UWC

#Pearsonuwc is fueling the resurrection of the beloved Whale Interpretive Centre in Telegraph Cove, BC, through a donation of a 7-year-old marine mammal skeleton. The Centre is rebuilding after a devastating fire destroyed their facility on New Year’s Eve, 2024.

#Pearsonuwc welcomes 2026 with a new Board Chair - Matteo Stefanel. The Year 19 Pearson alum from Italy is the co-founder and CEO of Apis Partners, a private equity investment management firm, and has generously given back to the College since graduating in 1994. #uwc
