High returns, aren’t necessarily market anomalies, but measures of far greater risk. (all personal views, no financial advice)

New lawsuit against $ZTS over the drug that killed my beloved dog, Max, nearly a year ago. I'm one of 19 plaintiffs in LA County. $ZTS lied to pet owners like me about safety of the drug. More details here. unicourt.com/case/ca-la24-c…

$COCO — Trades close to ATH and trades at 50x (insane multiple for a CPG co.) THEIR FREIGHT EXPENSES ABOUT TO BLOW UP IN PRICE. They import 100% of their goods and only have contracts for 20% the rest is paid on spot price! Ufff

I sleep well knowing that every single shit post of $DUOL is based on price action. They think it’s based on fundamentals, but if the price were $500, their entire world view would be completely different. How do I know this? You didn’t see any of these posts when the price was $500. In the most recent video from @joecarlsonshow he talked about Wall Street wanting companies do the same thing they’ve been doing. The bear posts on Duolingo basically just extrapolate the present and believe nothing will change. They basically think Amazon will keep selling books into infinity. Five years from now, these posts are going to look extremely silly.

@il_value @tiktok_us That might help some, however what platform will they use? $ELF depends on advertising for sales and TikTok is where their core demographic plays.

$ODD What do you get when a $GS CPG analyst becomes the CFO of a stock promotion — $ODD -40%. - AI was the branding lie - Beauty was the alleged business - Valuation was the hallucination - Cash flow was the missing ingredient

$ODD was about time this “alleged A.I. beauty dump fire got smoked! However L Catterton is yet to exit plus bet the founder will orchestrate another pump so he can sell. PS: designing an online decision tree questionnaire ain’t A.I.

GOLDMAN WARNS STOCK MARKET CORRECTION IS BIGGEST ECONOMY RISK Goldman Sachs says a U.S. stock market pullback poses the top near-term economic risk. While economist Pierfrancesco Mei expects 2.5% GDP growth in 2026, a 10% market drop could shave 0.5 points, and a 20% slump could cut nearly a full point. The main danger is the wealth effect: high-income households, who hold most stocks, drive spending. A correction would turn this boost into a drag, worsening the K-shaped economy where lower earners already struggle. Midterm election years add volatility—historically, intra-year declines average 19%, with 10% defined as a correction and 20% as a bear market. Even a modest stock drop could weigh on consumer spending and slow growth.

@TheRealBirnbaum Dude just download the $GOOGL translate app, click on the “Practice” tab and play around. It’s still in Beta development, it’s free, indefinite amount of time and unlike $DUOL it’s ran by one of the best A.I. Native platforms vs A.I. First marketing gimmick. Good luck

This is poor analysis--and one that every armchair analyst can't help but succumb to. If any developer can create $DUOL, why haven't we seen it? Because a business isn't just code. Anyone can build a CRM. Anyone can build an operating system. But no one can build an installed base, with proprietary data and insights, and a culture of innovation. You need to create this. The idea that you can prompt your way to a 100 million-user app requires very poor logic. This will reflect poorly upon a lot of investors overt the coming years.
Oguz Erkan@oguzerkan

$DUOL itself is proof that disruption is a real threat. They said that they more than doubled the number of courses last year thanks to AI. If they did it, other relatively competent developers can do it as well. The app itself is already replicable, and they've admitted that AI is highly useful in creating curricula. What protects it now?

@alc2022 You literally started to buy $DUOL in mid 2025 meaning at the top! This means $DUOL needs to surge +200% just to break even. Then add the time cost opportunity. Bro you already lost and you’re the only one who doesn’t know or can’t admit it.

@CMDarnton0 You really think $DUOL is competing against the LLM’s? Please! LLM’s are just one small component of the risks $DUOL faces. - Language is ripe for disruption - Language is a friction all hyperscalers have been wanting to solve and now they are - A.I. First ain’t A.I. Native

The cleanest mental model for $DUOL “versus” LLMs is this: The market assumes learning is about access to information. It is not. Learning is actually about sustained behavioural change. Marginal improvements in how behavior is guided, rewarded, and reinforced compound into massive gains in adoption and long-term engagement. That is the insight. That is the edge. Duolingo’s management understood this early. They did not build an information product. They engineered a behavioural change system, refined over years, even decades. @alc2022

@TheRealBirnbaum Guess you didn’t look hard enough or at all. There’s many bear calls on $DUOL when it traded above $500 including one of mine (05/24/25) price $517. PS: $DUOL will eventually rally but it’s eventual demise is a guarantee. Reminds me of @Shazam, GPS, Flashlight, or GPS Apps.

$DUOL AI FIRST🤡 @LuisvonAhn what does it even mean? Real AI views on $DUOL The total Al co. label is laughable, it’s a SaaS platform w a fancy Al sticker. It’s a bold-faced lie to investors & users — @grok @duolingo a glorified ChatGPT plugin behind a cartoon owl — @OpenAl

$DUOL — It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you in trouble. It’s what you know for sure that, just ain’t so” — Mark Twain @alc2022 how much $$$ has this fraud of a “guru” lost for all his followers?

@amywumartin @duolingo It’s not really about translation, it’s about the huge difference between being an A.I. NATIVE Co vs an A.I. FIRST Co (which just a marketing gimmick) Translation is just one of the many tools A.I. Native Co. will use to pick apart $DUOL who will become as relevant as @Shazam
