Anthony Edwards was not at Game 6 against Denver because he was pushing so hard with treatments to get himself ready for the Spurs. As the weekend arrived, he started feeling like his knee was responding well enough to make it happen. And here we are.

Edwards has tried multiple treatments over the last several days, including hyperbaric chamber sessions, to expedite his timetable. He will go through his pregame warmups with the plan to play. For the Wolves, an unforeseen healing period over the last 24 hours that has Edwards ready for Game 1.

Obviously best-best case is his knee feels fine.
Worst case is his pride is up from team success in his absence and he rushes back and tries to do too much offensively.

Assuming Ant is still dealing with knee issues, best case scenario is the 2024 KAT model where he plays more controlled but leverages his skills to help the team and focuses more on defense.
Next best is the Willis Reed model where he can’t really move around but is inspiring.
