PDX Renters Bill of Rights
@PDXRenterPower
Join us to fight for Renters Rights! We are a group of tenant organizers working to increase tenant power. Primarily associated with Portland DSA Housing.

Portland DSA is the #2 most powerful group in City Council politics, according to Willamette Week. The socialist movement is on the rise because working class people know we deserve more – on cost of living, climate, and genocide. wweek.com/news/2024/11/1…

Notable that the two candidates endorsed by @PortlandDSA — Koyama Lane & Green (on the city's westside!) — are in strong positions right now to win seats. DSA put an unrivaled ground game behind both of them, while most campaigns struggled w/ volunteers. oregonlive.com/politics/2024/…

Reason 5: Some candidates know what they’re talking about and some candidates definitely don’t. When we began the cleanup for downtown Portland and other areas across the city, we did so by neighborhoods, small businesses, and enhance service areas coming together! These candidates who are running against neighborhoods and against the interests of small business have no place in our next City Hall. ***All talk and no action.***

Council is voting to extend for *10* years the Downtown Clean & Safe contract ahead of the election. This ensures a decade of public money flows into the Portland Business Alliance’s coffers to fund their ongoing lobbying with the city. It’s a huge conflict of interest 🚩
