In 2016, I was selected as an @OJPNIJ LEADS Scholar, a program supporting research-minded, sworn law enforcement officers working to integrate research into agency policy. Today, at the NIJ Research Conference @NIJDirLaVigne welcomed a plenary session celebrating 10 years of LEADS and the program’s impact on our careers, and the advancement of research and evidence in policing. I am grateful for the program’s transformative role on my life and career but more importantly for the future of women in policing by serving as an incubator for @30x30initiative #FindYourPeople

Today at the @IAWPInfo conference, @USDOJ_Intl Director Gregory Ducot introduces a panel featuring international case studies of the DOJ’s International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP) police partners. Moderated by Lynn Holland, Senior Law Enforcement Advisor for the EMPoWER Program (Engaging Multinational Police Women on Equality and Rights), the program builds the capacity of women to combat terrorism by supporting them through leadership opportunities and inclusion in counterterrorism efforts.
