@ItsLethalTTV yes, normally I see it used when the 2 want to talk to one another but do separate things, or plan to stream the same game at a separate time during the stream

Have you ever seen people do this?

Oh and let me elaborate on the model reveal being cheap engagement because some people misunderstood me:
I'm talking about those 'retweet to unlock' posts, they are just... really bad because 1. you're spending extra unnecessary money and 2. excitement wears off when the full model is revealed, on top of the conversion (aka people going to twitch right after that post) is VERY low.
It's better to post videos of different snippets of your model and tease that way till debut day, it keeps interest and curiosity up!!

@RaincloudDreams @mochisaiiVT I see it as a raid and/or watch target as well. Also Twitch has a bad habit of telling me that someone is live hours into their streams, and sometimes even after they're done.
English

@mochisaiiVT I’m always a mixed bag on them. When I see them, I feel seen and acknowledged as a fellow creative by the creator of the server. But at the same time, it often feels like no one ever reads them, and I feel bad because I feel like I’m advertising at the creator’s expense. :(
English

Genuine question.
Why are promo channels bad? I've had mine since I started because I really like to showcase everyone in the community's skills and hobbies, whether it be commissions, streams, videos, or something else.
I recognize that people may just post in there and nowhere else, but it's like having a lurker. I don't expect everyone to be active in the Discord.

Top vtuber takes of mine: - Promo channels in your server are BAD and NOT needed - You do not need a logo either - Lore videos cost too much than their value, they really are optional - Model reveals are cheap engagement and work very poorly in terms of conversion Thoughts? 🐱
