@buttrscotchknif The underground one is more technologically advanced, since it requires the pipe to maintain a seal under pressure. The reason water can flow "uphill" is because the force of water pushing it from behind is greater than its weight due to gravity.

@ALZavaldski @bokoen1 Non-nazi paths for Germany avoid the war entirely or make it difficult to balance. Also, I think that even if WW1 can be incorporated, the interwar period outside of Eastern Europe doesn't make sense.

@bokoen1 1932 would be a good alternate start date, it makes the non-Nazi paths for Germany a lot more plausible. For the post-WW2 era, a separate Cold War game is sorely needed. Also why not an official WW1 start date as well?

I’m starting to see people talk about what they want from Hoi5 whenever it comes out. One of the big ones I keep seeing is “extend the timeline to 1930-1950”. Please dear god do NOT let this happen. The extended time sucks in EU5 and it’ll suck if it happens in hoi5.

In 1933 you are motivated to prepare for the war as you know its coming, whereas the real leaders did not have the info nor the incetives to fully mobilize soon.

Son & I went to a national park in January & asked to buy the $80 annual pass. Rangers said they were ordered to throw out all the hard passes b/c they didn't have Trump's photo on them (yet). Had to buy online & rangers printed a temp pass. This came in the mail a month later.
