There's no question someone in the White House told Trump to call the war in Iran an "incursion," but he heard it as "excursion" and now he keeps calling it that - making the war sound like a holiday getaway - because no one around him ever corrects him when he makes a mistake.

Fair dos, I assumed a paid collab.

@67bab @GiuliaBould Mersey travel has a strategic plan. New stations are planned for existing/newly developed needs.
Nothing is happening at that level in the 10 streets area yet. So it's not a priority. A 20 odd times a year need doesn't cut it.

@GiuliaBould It is a major regeneration area and will need a bigger and more appropriate station than Sandhills currently is. I lay blame on the government and this fella.

It's interesting the original Transport Assessment for the stadium judged 850m was not a suitable walking distance to be viable.
Now walking 1.6 miles is "a great opportunity to get your steps in for the day"

If the city gave planning permission without placing liabilities on EFC to address the issues it assumed responsibility itself.
It appears to have failed to consult with Mersey travel at the outset.

@GiuliaBould Irrespective of BMD stadium being where it is, the question should be asked "why is there no regular bus service along the Dock Road"? Given the number of apartments, hotels and businesses in the area surely a bus service is needed.

@youngvulgarian @OzKaterji Low point for me was Kuenssberg sneering at Mandelson that “I’m hearing Reform have won your old seat of Hartlepool” then persisting when he expressed scepticism. Labour won it by miles. Amateur hour.

@Zokko18 Even on election night it was all “wow, Reform, what an amazing success they are” & it’s continued ever since. Sky in particular have done huge reports on their “political revolution” & “preparing for power”. It’s just ridiculous. Five MPs & a 3-way poll split 5yrs before a GE.
