Dear Colleagues,
I would like to share that, effective December 31, I will be stepping down from my role as CEO of The PERT Consortium.
It has been an extraordinary honor and privilege to help build and lead this remarkable organization for well over a decade, from its inception in 2015 to where it stands today. I have had the unique opportunity to work alongside some of the most brilliant thought leaders, dedicated clinicians, valued industry partners, generous donors, and an exceptional team whose passion and commitment have made PERT what it is today.
This has truly been a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The knowledge, friendships, and lessons I have gained during my time at PERT are impossible to fully express. I could not be more proud of what we have accomplished together or more grateful for the countless hours, challenges, celebrations, and milestones we have shared.
Over the next six months, I will remain fully committed in my current role as we thoughtfully transition our outstanding team to new leadership. I am incredibly proud to be leaving PERT at a time of tremendous strength and momentum. The PRISM Program has launched with overwhelming success, the PERC Database and Center of Excellence programs continue to thrive, PERT International is expanding across the globe, and The Consortium is stronger than ever.
While this decision was not made lightly, I am excited for what lies ahead—both for PERT and for me personally. I have every confidence that The Consortium's brightest days are still ahead, and I will be cheering you on every step of the way.
As I begin this next chapter, I look forward to spending even more time with my daughter as she prepares for college over the coming years.
Thank you for your trust, your partnership, your friendship, and for allowing me the privilege of serving this incredible organization. It has been one of the greatest honors of my life.
With my deepest respect, gratitude, and affection,
Michelle Lanno
Chief Executive Officer
The PERT Consortium
