Containerball. 2 teams throwing balls into opponent’s container. If tagged go to jail. If balls in your container, Ss can try to make a basket at basketball goal to get all balls out of container. Guards may stand inside coned area but no one else can. @KAHPERD @OlatheElemPE

Race to 5 warm-up, great twitter find from ⁦@pe4everykid⁩. Each partner rolls a dice, highest number flips 1 cup. First person to flip all 5 cups, shakes hand of opponent, and takes a victory lap. Non-winner preforms an exercise. Social skills and sportsmanship 👍! #physed

Floor Ball as part of our striking unit. All students involved, playing with multiple partners, communication skills, such a goodie! Purchased Now Net from @GopherSport and am in ❤️. Use them constantly for various activities. #physed #floorball #gophersport

Hockey stations this week. Lots of set-up work but worth it for the excitement when they enter the gym and see it all 🤯😲. 3v3, Pit Hockey, Scooter Hockey, and Hockey Skee Ball/Air Hockey. Love doing hockey in small groups for safety. Tired teacher = Fun week! #physed #hockey

Paddle Battle produced accurate strikers and sweaty kids. Modified from a @CoachPirillo game. Played as a team game, Students collect 1 card for pin touch, 2 for pin knockdown, cone touch = dice roll for # of cards. Try to be the team with most cards collected. #physed #striking

Thanks @MrStaupsPE for this gem, Teamwork Travel. Kids worked together using only their 2 mats to travel the gym, retrieve a ball, and get it into their goal. 10 jumping jack penalty as a group if anyone touched the ground. Problem solving at its best! #physed #teamwork

Table Ball is always a CCE favorite. My favorite striking game we play. We always end with a tournament, kids love the independent scoring and playing. #physed #tableball

Save The Turkeys - Thanksgiving twist on capture the flag. Great for teamwork and communication skills. We identified each persons role on the team before starting each round. Be the first team to capture a turkey from every farm for the win. #physed #thansgiving

First time to try Lacrosse for me at the elementary. Thanks to Westside Wild lacrosse club for letting us borrow equipment. Love introducing students to something new. Had a few students go on to try Lacrosse with a local club 👍🏼. #physed #lacrosse

Our annual Lap-A-Thon fundraiser was a huge success. We took it up a notch this year and created our path all the way around the school. We raised over $20,000 and everyone had a blast. Such an awesome day! #CCE #PhysEd
