While playing Striker Ball, these 5th graders practiced using a short implement to strike a ball with CONTROL. Look how focused they are! 👀#striking

Grades K-2 played “Spaghetti and Meatballs” to practice striking with control while using an implement. Each student had to keep their spaghetti (noodles) and meatballs (balloons) from falling off their plate (poly spot). 🍝#striking

We are all “SET” to learn about striking! This week, students are using the set, forearm bump, and spike to strike with their hands 👋🏼. Next week, we will use long and short implements.

Jumping rope is a tough skill that students develop over time, at their own pace. Our K-2 Bears use noodles, hula hoops and ropes to work on their timing. The progress is incredible to witness! @TheBarnwellBeat
