The Power Foundation of India (PFI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) on March 16, 2026, to establish the PFI Distinguished Chair Professorship on Power Sector Regulation and Policy at IIT Kanpur.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟑 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 | 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 (𝐄𝐑 & 𝐍𝐄𝐑) On the 3rd day of the Regional Regulatory Workshop for the ER & NER region, participants visited the Nagarjuna Sagar Pumped Storage Project in Nalgonda district, Telangana.

𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟑: 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐟 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 Shri A. R. Siva Muthu Kumar conducted a session on tariff modelling and tariff structures, with a special focus on distribution tariffs.
