Well, that was quite a half term! I am in absolute awe of how our @BrightonHillSch team have shone in the most challenging of circumstances, without complaining once. Our students have been resilient, kind and committed and I’ve never been prouder to lead the #YellowArmy!

@ChinehamIndie @BasingstokeGov Basingstoke gazette report on council plan to stop weekly black bin and just do kitchen waste. As a carer I place 4 adult pads per person for some in a bin a day the 2 weekly collection has been horrendous. Bins and bags so heavy after 2 weeks some carers can hardly move them

@PHeath58 Where have you heard this? @BasingstokeGov do you have any news on future bin collections? I wouldn't mind separating food waste.....as long as it has somewhere to go @PHeath58

Basingstoke Council planning on going back on reinstatement of weekly bin collection "to meet carbon emissions ". Do not be fooled only saving money and we will be forced to separate food waste from non recycling so another bin to store. Save Our Weekly Bin Collection
