@DannyCrichton And though I played it with students only outside of the class, I should Littoral Commander games. They are great and even if there is a bit of a learning curve, it's not steep and the rules are intuitive - definitely worth playing.

My students and I had an opportunity to run a wargame at a gaming culture event here in Vilnius. We prepared a
scenario set in Lithuania for Brian Train's QUICK system, which finds a right balance between realism, complexity, and accessibility. Link in the reply tweet.

First day at GameOn in Vilnius, demoing some light wargames from @EM_DAlessandro and @Fight_Club_Intl. Sometimes victories, sometimes defeats, but always a great time.

We ran the third annual boardgame design competition at the annual sci-fi/fantasy Lituanicon, which this year led to four prototypes submitted, all incorporating folklore elements. And first game from the first competition, Fraudville, will soon be published by @BalticBoar.

Like for @WriteGameRead, it's something that relates to academia. I am used to it, and if I have an evolution of notes, it gives better grounding.

This is the sort of feedback that I really enjoy! Even if my model is wrong, you will know why it's wrong and why you disagree with it. Footnoting everything also means that when I look at the part of the design much later, I know why I did something and were I got the data from.

I like how all games by Evan have lots of endtnotes that explain the rationale behind every number and mechanics. You may agree or disagree with any part of the rules, but at least you know exactly why it was made in that way and get a lot of references.
