Seen Fabian Ruiz deliver high levels of performance playing off the left wing, as a DM and as an 8 this season And in every single position, he has managed to enforce his technical gifts on the game. Will go for huge, huge money if he eventually moves from Napoli.

@PL_Panel Some fantastic points on how Eriksen will fit in Conte's system. Great stuff as always! As a united fan though, I am intrigued on what you think about his move to United & how he will fit in i.e., whether he is a good fit in a double pivot with FDJ?

@AY__MUFC Yh there’s no proper ball winner in there, frenkie isn’t as bad as many make out at that but he’s not elite and likes to wander up the pitch rather than sitting in as a pure 6

@PL_Panel Suppose United get this FDJ deal done. Going forward I don’t think a FDJ-Eriksen and Bruno midfield would have many issues. But defensively is where I struggle to see how it would work. Unless I’m just missing something?

A la Bruno isn’t his competition if he comes here.

@PL_Panel Well said made some great points. At this point if he doesn’t come I would be extremely disappointed, too perfect a fit (and a story) for it not to happen

@joedavis90 @FplProp Eriksen was probably inferior to him at the time but they developed him into something far beyond Sigurdsson The approach Everton should have taken

@PL_Panel @FplProp The reason why Spurs sold him ultimately. He's good, but not quite good enough

@FplProp Nope Sig can definitely be put in the same bracket. Was too limited for bridging the gap to the top 6 and paying 50 million. Should’ve bought someone younger with a higher ceiling. Because his open play threat isn’t actually significant at all. 9 non-set piece big chances created

@PL_Panel Sigurdsson can’t be put in the same sentence with Tosun & Walcott. His influence & attacking output in the Everton team is unmatched. On his day he’s one of the PL’s best play makers.

@EiFSoccer Agreed Lampard moving Wilson inside from the wing as an 8 in the second half of the season gives some hope that this could happen

Wow what a goal that would’ve been. Pulisic is so dangerous when he gets running at defenders in those central areas. Really, really hope he gets a chance to play in the middle for Chelsea. He moves so well and that trait isn’t as valuable if you’re parked out on the wing.

@dami_vaughan They need someone who can playmake in more advanced areas than Ruiz though. Or failing that someone who can get in the box and score goals like Bruno Yh he’s ideal for United

@PL_Panel I feel like Liverpool have enough CMs who add physicality and really need a playmaker in there. Tbf Klopp seems to work magic, but I feel that’s the last ingredient. Would kill for him at United 😭😭

@dami_vaughan Think Keïta is better suited as an 8 in Klopp’s system tbh as he’s more physically gifted But for United, definitely. Then move Pogba further forward

@PL_Panel Wonderful player. Much better for for United than Bruno Fernandes. Liverpool could do with him as well, he would take them to a new level imo

Strikers like Lukaku & Morata would do well to learn from the off-the-ball work that Edinson Cavani constantly puts in for 90 minutes. Even world class quality doesn’t exempt you from hard work.

This would make Marcus Rashford the highest paid striker in the Premier League. A knock-on effect of smashing their wage structure to give Alexis Sanchez £300-350K per week. Manchester United transfer policy - pay first, think about the long-term consequences after.
