Buuuuut unlike with the Clarke situation. Spurs still have Scarlett, Veliz and Lankshear all still on the competing for that one place.

Think this is a significant mistake, unless we keep a favourable buy-back clause. Believe the last time I said that was for Jack Clarke, who, at least in my opinion, would have been very useful to have in the squad last season.

This line that Postecoglou walked into the “perfect club” at Spurs is the definition of recency bias itself. When he made the move there were protests against Levy, they’d just seen their Sporting Director get a global ban, Kane was leaving and AP himself was being written off.
