Great to join Visit Seattle today to sign into a law a bill that will generate upwards of $25 million to fund marketing work for the Tourism Marketing Authority.
We want to showcase every part of our beautiful state.

Last year, we announced the Department of Health is processing all requests to change gender designation on birth certificates within 3 business days, down from as much as a 10 month wait.
This week, I signed a bill ensuring Washingtonians can change the sex designation on their state IDs and birth certificates without fear of violating their privacy.
Washington state is committed to protecting the rights of transgender and gender diverse people. That includes their legal right to reflect their gender on these documents.

Quick question:
If California is running so low on gas why can’t we just import it from Texas?
Here’s why. California requires an oil blend so specific, a boutique blend if you will and It can only be made by a handful of refineries in South Korea, Singapore, India.
Texas gas can’t be sold there. Wrong formula. So when your refineries Close and 20% is already gone they can’t just call their neighbors. They have to wait for a ship from Asia.
Meanwhile, the straight of Hormuz (bordering Iran) is the main route for a lot of that oil.
California didn’t just make gas expensive it built a trap and all who live there are in it.
That’s NOT President Trump’s fault. That falls solely on Gavin Newsom.
